Grief doesn’t stay at home. It’s a universal human experience that impacts emotions, productivity, and morale in the workplace. Yet, in many companies, there’s still a gap between what’s promised in wellness and what’s actually practiced. How can we create spaces where employees feel truly connected and valued—not just when things are going well, but especially during life’s hardest moments? We’re all experiencing so much instability and loss. Genuine support is about creating workplaces that match intentions with actions—spaces where employees know their well-being matters, especially when life is challenging. Let's build workplaces where resilience, compassion, and connection aren’t just words on a website—they’re lived, everyday practices. If your company is ready to match intentions with real action, let’s talk.

Research shows that interacting with animals can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, and increase feelings of happiness. Whether it's an office pet, a therapy animal, or just a designated pet-friendly day, these furry friends can create a more relaxed and positive work environment. Little by little, a little becomes a lot. This is the Stress Awareness Month theme for 2024, and it focuses on the notion that small daily actions can have a big impact on our wellbeing. It also reflects our overall CSR commitment – where we recognise that everyone making even the smallest changes on a micro level, can produce positive results on a much larger scale. In recognition of the month – which takes place every April – here we share just some of the ways we support our people with stress management and overall wellbeing. #Sledge #stressawareness #wellbeing #employeewellbeing #employeeexperience #agencyculture

Just as all our colleagues have the right to a safe and healthy work environment, we know it’s just as important to protect #MentalHealth. Ignoring an illness or injury can lead to a worsening of the original issue, but when it comes to mental ill-health like stress, anxiety or depression, there’s often a stigma that can stop people from discussing it, asking for help, or seeking professional treatment. We understand that #MentalHealthMatters. That’s why our colleagues and their families worldwide get 24/7 access to our Employee Assistance Programme through Workplace Options. #WFMHWorldMentalHealthDay #WMHD2024 #WorkplaceMentalHealth #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 #WorkplaceWellness

I’m really encouraged by Gofore’s decision to bring more transparency to the conversation around mental health at work! By reporting mental health-related sick leave in their investor communications, they’re tackling an issue that’s becoming increasingly urgent. With around 6% of Gofore’s team taking sick leaves due to mental health challenges, it’s clear this is a growing concern across companies, and it’s impacting our competitiveness. What stands out is Gofore’s commitment to not just talking about it, but actively working toward solutions and bringing transparency—whether that’s supporting their team or fostering open, honest conversations. In my role, I’ve seen firsthand how crucial mental well-being is to building healthy, sustainable work environments. We need more companies to step up, be transparent, and find new ways to support their employees. At Auntie we help companies to act before the need for sick leave occurs. Based on our survey 83% of our users felt Auntie helped them to prevent a burn out and 47% felt it decreased their need to take a sick leave. #mentalhealth #leadership #workplacewellbeing
