Today is #WorldEnvironmentDay, a lot of preconceptions about our works is that it is unsustainable, environmentally unfriendly and even damaging vulnerable receptors, but that is not the case! We work hard to achieve the below criteria on every single project: - >85% materials generated to be recycled - Ensure any environmental emissions are kept below the critical criteria - Ensure contaminated soils are treated and sites left suitable for their desired purpose, including verification and all permitting / licensing requirements - Correct disposal of any untreatable / hazardous materials generated through the works to licensed facilities - Look to dismantle and re-use where ever possible, as opposed demolish and recycle We also operate under our own environmental permit, waste carriers license and carry qualifications ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 showing our dedication to betterment of our sites and their impact on the environment! #Remediation #Environment #recycling #reuse #ISO #Demolition

This is just one of the costs of not following environmental safety standards. Cutting corners with materials like shredded rubber tyres might seem like a cost-saving measure, but the consequences can be catastrophic, both for the environment and public safety. As we move forward, it’s crucial to prioritise long-term sustainability over short-term gains. Environmental regulations are there for a reason, and ignoring them only exacerbates the risks. #sustainability #tyres #environmentalsafety
