🌱 Wow, what an engaging and insightful discussion we had during our first LinkedIn Live event! We were thrilled to see such an active and enthusiastic audience! 🎉 Together with Richard Zaltzman, our CEO, Sara Roversi, Founder of Future Food Institute, and Mirva Lampinen, Co-Creation Manager at VTT, an EIT Food partner, we dove into a vibrant conversation about what #RegenerativeFoodSystems look like and how data, technology, and finance play pivotal roles in making this vision a reality. One key takeaway was the enormous burden #farmers carry today. It’s clear we need fair food systems where risks and responsibilities are shared among all stakeholders, including both the public and private sectors. Local policymakers have a critical role to play here, making significant changes at the community level.🌾 Data is also crucial in this transformation. But beyond just collecting data, it’s essential to ensure it’s actionable. We discussed leveraging data to optimise land use, support innovations, and measure success through the growth of startups and the adoption of new technologies that are paving the way for a sustainable future. 📊 We were particularly inspired by the speakers’ emphasis on the necessity of a profound holistic approach and a mindset shift. Regeneration must be a holistic approach that integrates human and planetary health and sustainability into every facet of our #FoodSystems. We need to empower leaders who can make bold decisions and foster a collaborative mindset. We’re absolutely blown away that we’ve moved up 224 places in the FoodTech 500 ranking in just a year 🥹🙌 In 2022, we were thrilled to make it to number 432 in the rankings - we definitely weren’t expecting to make it to number 208 in 2023. Cultivated Meat Commercialization: Tackled the vital conversations around the challenges and opportunities in expediting the commercialization of cultivated meat. 🥩 4.
