Here’s something to digest: As we age, our bodies naturally produce less stomach acid. This decrease can lead to more gut infections and reduced absorption of crucial nutrients like B12, a nutrient vital for producing stomach acid itself. While many adults over 50 with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) are quick to reach for antacids like Nexium, Prilosec, and Prevacid; it’s estimated that 90% actually suffer from low stomach acid, not high. This is a classic case of treating the symptoms without addressing the root cause. That’s why I run stool tests for my clients, taking a closer look at gut health to gradually restore it from the ground up.

We built this for our clinic in India and IT HAS BEEN A GAME CHANGER! I am really excited because I want more people to be able to use it and experience the benefits. Meal planning can be a revolutionary tool to help people achieve a better diet and better health. But it is notoriously time consuming to make meal plans that are personalized enough to follow, and precise enough to see health benefits. Our software solves that problem. Some highlights from research on it so far: 1. Tech-savvy users find the web-based platform really easy to use (just choose what you want to eat from your personalized/curated list of options… and done!). Those who are less tach savvy can get the help of anyone trained on the software, and have their meal plan printed. 2. When included in a Diabetes Prevention Program as a resource for participants, it doubled the odds of reaching 7% weight loss in users compared to non-users. 3. It is already integrated into a primary care clinical decision support system for healthcare practitioners…. And half the participants to whom it was offered wanted to, and did, use it!
