Many hospitals and clinics often ignore new medical employees or hire them with cheap salaries because they think they don’t know much yet 🤷♂️ and are just starting their careers. But the reality is some new employees work hard 📈 with smartness and prove they’re just as good . Once you find the potential to increase their salary according to their level As a consultant, my advice is, when hiring, to remember to look at what someone can really do, not just their degrees 🎓 or past jobs. Fresh ideas are important, too! #jobs #medicalcarrier #hospitalstaffs

Attracting and retaining qualified personnel requires more than just signing bonuses and salary increases ! Job seekers are looking for employers whose culture and values align with their own, and who are willing to invest in their growth both personally and professionally. 🚀 Despite positive recruitment trends in some areas like healthcare, shortages persist, particularly among doctors, nurses, technicians, and behavioral health providers. 🥼 These situations lead to : 📈 increased rates of burnout, 📉 decreased quality of care. A common trap that doctors fall into is feeling pressure to sign contracts within a certain timeframe because of employer’s demands. Doctors end up believing that if they don't sign the contract right away, the offer might get pulled by the employer. The reality is, the pressure from employers is artificial. Employers want to fill the open position quickly, but that sense of urgency is rarely justified. I always advise my clients to ask for more time to review the contract. Employers have NEVER declined my doctors’ requests for more time, up to 6 weeks in some cases, to review the contract. If doctors understood that negotiating a contract is an expected part of the process, maybe they wouldn’t be so thirsty to sign bad contracts. #newjob #doctors

4 Ways Physicians Can Optimize Their Careers 💼 Fully reviewing and understanding your terms of employment before signing a contract could reveal some opportunities you are missing. There might be room for improvement in your compensation, or you could negotiate more appropriate scheduling. Here are a handful of ways that asking the right questions and improving your contract early can optimize your entire career: ▪️ Are you being paid fairly? You could deserve higher compensation if the average salary and bonus numbers for your specialty are trending upward. ▪️ Does your work schedule suit your current lifestyle? Your scheduling and call hours can often be changed to better fit your needs. ▪️ Are you concerned about future pay cuts? The right contract terms can prevent your employer from decreasing your salary or bonus numbers. ▪️ How is termination handled? Make sure your contract protects you in the event you are let go or allows you to exit the contract when necessary. Some of these contract items may not be glaring problems when you first sign, but addressing them now can save you time, money, and stress over a longer period. A combination of fair compensation and protection for the "what-ifs" will optimize your career for years to come. If you want to know more about reviewing a contract, or would like hands-on assistance with one of your own, Resolve is here to help. As a recruitment consultant working with hospitals, I’ve seen the many hurdles HR managers face when it comes to hiring doctors and medical staff. Here are some challenges that might sound all too familiar: 1-Irrelevant Applications: It’s all too common to receive a flood of resumes from candidates who haven’t read the job requirements. Sorting through these can feel like a never-ending task and makes finding the right fit a real challenge. 2-Scarcity of Qualified Talent: With fewer doctors available and many pursuing their own ventures, finding qualified candidates who are willing to join your team is tougher than ever. It’s a competitive market out there! 3-Frequent Job Changes: The trend of frequent job hopping can be concerning. It raises questions about long-term commitment, making it harder to invest in candidates who might not stay around for the long haul. 4-Compensation Expectations: Candidates often compare hospital salaries with what they might earn elsewhere, overlooking the financial pressures hospitals face. This can lead to unrealistic salary demands that don’t align with your budget. 5-Work-Life Balance: Many healthcare professionals are seeking better work-life balance, which can be difficult to offer in a field with demanding schedules and irregular hours. 6-High Salary Demands: Rising salary expectations can be hard to meet due to budget constraints. Balancing these demands with what your hospital can offer is a delicate task. 7-Technological Adaptation: Keeping up with rapid technological advancements requires staff to stay current with new tools. Finding candidates who are up-to-date can be a significant challenge. 8-Finding the Right Cultural Fit: It’s not just about the right skills; candidates need to mesh well with your hospital’s culture and values. This can make the hiring process even more complex. #HealthcareRecruitment #HospitalHR #Doctors #MedicalStaff #HiringChallenges #HealthcareJobs #TalentAcquisition #WorkLifeBalance #futureofwork

💡 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 #𝟭: 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗗𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸! Are you missing the mark on recruitment in general practice? 🤔 One of the BIGGEST mistakes I see practices making is not researching local rates. In today’s competitive market, understanding what other surgeries in your area are offering is essential to attract top talent. 💼 But I get it—budgets are tight, and balancing competitive offers with staff morale can be tricky. 💸 From my experience, some practices have managed this well by getting creative with their packages: offering flexible working hours, professional development opportunities, or even wellbeing perks, to make up for what they can’t stretch to in salary. 🔍 𝗧𝗶𝗽: Research your local market, but also think beyond just salary. Can you offer flexibility or extra benefits to make your practice more attractive? 👉 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐛𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐬?
