🏵 *In the scriptures, instructions have been given on how to render devotional service to Krishna. Therefore, in the initial stage we should practice the process. This process ultimately boils down to nine activities and hence, it is called navadha-bhakti, which begin with sravanam kirtanam vishnu. These two are the most important factors: hearing and chanting.* Srila Bhakti Charu Maharaja, SB 4.22.22, Ujjain, 13 Sept 2017

🛎️ The only qualification needed .... “One should not be enthusiastic to attain material achievements, one should be very enthusiastic to attain the perfectional stage of devotional service. This enthusiasm is called utsaha. A living entity cannot stop acting. So when he is forbidden to become enthusiastic about material achievements, he should at once be encouraged to be enthusiastic about spiritual achievements. Enthusiasm is a symptom of the living entity; it cannot be stopped. It is just like a powerful engine: if you utilize it properly, it will give immense production. Therefore enthusiasm should be purified. Instead of employing enthusiasm for attaining material goals, one should be enthusiastic about achieving the perfectional stage of devotional service. Indeed, enthusing His devotees in devotional service is the purpose for which Krsna descends to this material world.” ( Narada Bhakti Sutra, Text 5 - purport ) #prabhupada #iskcon #harekrishna #krishna #enthusiasm #inspiration #goals #spirituality

Once upon a time #Bharat was known for her character because of #Sanatan Dharma. This Dharma was based on well defined duties of citizens in different roles. There was no concept of Fundamental Rights as in the modern times. It does not mean that people were not enjoying Fundamental Rights but certainly it was intrinsic to duties like Rules of Laws in England. As long as you are performing your duties, can enjoy Fundamental Rights. To live life #righteously, there is a key concept of Purursarthas in Sanatan ways of life corresponding to four stages of life( Youth, Adulthood, Vanprasta and Sanyasa) which refers to the four proper goals or aims of a human life. The four puruṣārthas are #Dharma (righteousness, moral values), #Artha (prosperity, economic values), #Kama (pleasure, love, psychological values) and #Moksha (liberation, spiritual values, self-realization). #SanatanDharma

Micchami Dukkadam is a phrase in Prakrit, a language closely related to Sanskrit, used in Jainism to seek forgiveness. It is typically spoken on the last day of Paryushana (known as Samvatsari), which is the most significant annual festival for Jains. The phrase means "May all my bad actions be forgiven," and it signifies an appeal to cleanse any wrongdoings, whether they were intentional or unintentional. The purpose of saying Micchami Dukkadam is to apologize for any harm caused through thoughts, words, or actions throughout the year. In Jain philosophy, forgiveness (kshama) is a central virtue, essential to spiritual progress. By asking for forgiveness, Jains attempt to rid themselves of the karmic consequences of their negative actions, which is a crucial aspect of their belief in ahimsa (non-violence) and the law of karma. In this context, Micchami Dukkadam is not just a personal apology but a universal message of reconciliation, peace, and the desire to live in harmony with all living beings. It promotes humility, acknowledging that humans are fallible, and offers a fresh start in interpersonal relationships. #MicchamiDukkadam #Paryushana #JainFestival #Forgiveness #Peace #Compassion #Jain #Networking
