Get the fulltext: https://lnkd.in/dPNQMcda In this paper, we introduce the generalized (p,q)-Bernstein-Stancu polynomials based on the (p,q)- integers. We study approximation properties of these operators. In special cases, we obtain (p,q)- Bernstein operators, Stancu operators or Phillips polynomials.

FLI Colloquium with Ivan Matić: ADP-Ribosylation in DNA repair signaling and aging – blending advanced technologies and fundamental discoveries 💡 Biochemist Dr. Ivan Matić from the Max Planck Institute for Biology of Ageing has spoken on July 23, 2024 at the Leibniz-Institut für Alternsforschung - Fritz-Lipmann-Institut e.V. (FLI) about the latest discoveries and developments of his research group on protein modification ADP-ribosylation. 👉 His research team identified, using the proteomic approach for ADPr, serine-ADPr as a novel histone modification. This seminal finding led to the revolutionary discovery that the HPF1/PARP1 complex is the originator of this novel PTM. This represents a new paradigm for PARP1 signaling. Presented a poster on the Characterisation of the Cherenkov Detectors for the MOLLER experiment at the 16th Pisa Meeting on Advanced Detectors (Elba Italy) MOLLER is an upcoming experiment at the Jefferson Lab, USA aiming to measure the parity violating asymmetry in electron electron (MOLLER) scattering with unprecedented precision (< 1 parts per billion) by scattering polarised electron beam off unpolarised target at 11 GeV. It has the potential to unravel dynamics beyond the standard model!
