A huge thank you to Lubos Brabenec for sharing this! It’s always a pleasure to engage with the brilliant minds in the #Brnoregion #Microscopy community while exchanging ideas on science communication.
A Busy End of November! The end of November was incredibly hectic, and I’m honestly amazed that I managed to successfully juggle everything! 😊 🎤 November 21 (Afternoon): I had the pleasure of giving a short talk on science communication during the #120seconds event at CEITEC - Central European Institute of Technology. A big thank you to Radka Martínková and the team at Brnoregion Microscopy for the invitation. It was a fantastic experience, and the 2-minute time limit was a real challenge! 🌌 November 21 (Evening): Together with my colleague Monika Pupíková, we gave a lecture on Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation at Hvězdárna a planetárium Brno. The venue was fully booked, and judging by the lively discussion afterward, the audience found our topic highly engaging. Many thanks to Josef Forman, Martina Jelínková, and Národní ústav pro neurologický výzkum for organizing such a wonderful event. 💻 November 22: I was honored to be an invited speaker at an online workshop on acoustic speech analysis, co-organized by Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Huge thanks to Jiri Mekyska for making this opportunity possible! 🌟 November 29: The final highlight was the finals of the FameLab International competition. It was inspiring to compete alongside such talented participants—congratulations to the winner Sivaniya Subramaniapillai! I firmly believe that science communication is more important than ever, and it was an honor to represent the Czech Republic. Special thanks to amazing Jat Dhillon and Lucie Valova for their invaluable feedback and support during my preparations! November was intense, but experiences like these make all the effort worthwhile!
