Every opportunity to serve and share knowledge, is an opportunity for growth. Yesterday, I had the privilege of engaging these passionate early years teachers. Fulfilling one of my purposes here on earth - impacting knowledge and excited doing that. Have you discovered what your purpose is on earth? Have you started taking steps to fulfilling them? ♻️ repost for other school leaders and teachers to see #iammsgifty #earlychildhoodeducation #eyfs #lifelonglearning #childatheartconsultbygifty

I fully support this list with one important addition. Independent schools actively engage parents in their child's education. Whether discussing grades, well-being, or behaviour, there is a strong three-way partnership between parents, students, and schools. #AISWA #CSA #CEN #education #christianeducation #independentschools

I'll give it a crack. Australians are choosing Independent schools for many reasons that reflect the diversity of our families and communities: 🌟 Values: Whether it’s a faith-based education, a focus on creativity, or fostering leadership, Independent schools align with what families believe in. 👩🎓 Opportunities: From arts to sports, STEM to student well-being, these schools give kids the chance to shine in their own way. 🤝 Community: Families want a place where their children feel safe, supported, and included—a second home where friendships and values grow together. 💡 Choice: Every child is unique, and every family deserves the freedom to find the school that fits just right for them. At the heart of it all? It’s about children. Their futures, their potential, their dreams. That's why families make sacrifices to send their children to our schools. #SchoolChoiceCounts

“hang on…you shouldn’t come to a Catholic school and then trade-off learning.” Same goes for special schools. A culture of low expectations in special education has to change. If our educators don’t believe they can do it…nor will our young people or their families. At The Sycamore School our Year 3,5,7 and 9 students do NAPLAN testing. We put supports and adjustments in place to address the nervousness around assessment, and to ensure our students have every opportunity to engage with the content successfully. It’s what “inclusion” looks like. Independent Schools Australia Independent Schools Queensland #autism #education #smallschools #independentspecialschools #inclusiveeducation

As the school year wraps up, I want to highlight the importance of appreciating our children's teachers. While school fees cover many aspects of education, the value of a simple "thank you" is immeasurable. During the recent Parent-Teacher Conferences, many kind words lifted my spirits. However, some comments were less encouraging. Teachers pour their hearts into their work, often going above and beyond for their students. Acknowledgment, even through a few kind words, can make a significant difference. Appreciation doesn’t have to be about gifts; it can be as simple as a heartfelt note or a few words recognizing a teacher’s hard work and positive influence. These gestures uplift teachers and create a positive school community. Let’s come together to show gratitude to the teachers who have been integral to our children’s growth this year. Your appreciation can make a world of difference. #Education #TeacherAppreciation #Gratitude #Parenting #SchoolCommunity Have a wonderful Summer Break! #Montessoriguide #Earlychildhoodeducation #Teachers
