The International Conference on Envisioning Inclusive Futures: Exploring Innovative Paradigms in Global Education organized by the Faculty of Education, SGT University emerged as a pivotal platform for reimagining global educational paradigms. The conference was inaugurated with the lighting lamp and exponential addresses delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Madan Mohan Chaturvedi, Vice Chancellor, SGT University, Mr. Anil Kumar, CEO, SGT University, Prof.(Dr.) Waheeda Khan, Advisor, SGT University, Prof. (Dr.) Subodh Kumar, Director Campus, SGT University. The welcome address of the conference given by Prof.(Dr.) Madhavi Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Education, SGT University. The conference illuminated the transformative potential of inclusive learning strategies from and across international boundaries with the delighted presence of Prof. (Dr.) Christopher Johnstone, Associate Professor, University of Minnesota, USA, and Prof. (Dr.) Aneta Hayes, Dean, Faculty of Internationalization of Education, Keele University, UK. Distinguished speakers, including Dr. Sharanjeet Kaur, Chairperson, of the Rehabilitation Council of India, Govt of India, and eminent academicians from various universities, converged to discuss innovative approaches to educational accessibility and equity.
Over three compelling days from 22nd November to 24th November 2024, experts from diverse institutional backgrounds discussed and explored critical intersections of pedagogy, inclusivity, and global educational challenges. The conference transcended traditional academic discourse by integrating cross-cultural dialogues and practical strategies for advancing inclusive educational
methodologies. The second day of the conference witnessed a vibrant cultural evening showcasing traditional Indian performances by the student fraternity of Faculty of Education, SGT University, adding a rich, contextual dimension to the intellectual exchanges.
The concluding valedictory session led by the presence of prominent academicians like
Ms.V.R.P.Sheilaja Rao, former HOD, NIEPID India, Prof. (Dr.) Anita Rastogi, Department of Educational Studies, Jamia Milia Islamia, and Prof Mohammad Miyan, former Vice Chancellor Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Hyderabad, synthesized key insights and forward- looking recommendations. Participants unanimously celebrated the conference success in generating actionable frameworks for creating more responsive, adaptive, and inclusive learning environments.
