What an honour. I had an appointment to take the wife's Kia to the good people of Hawkins Motor Group for a service. Those that know me know I will of course take my laptop and work while I am waiting and at Hawkins Centre in St. Stephens that is a nice thing to do as they have a great little cafe just past the showroom. I was there doing a little work and catching up on those last few phone calls before I knew normal people switched off for the Christmas break when a man stood next to the table I as at and it was none other than the owner Mr. Hawkins whom I have only met one other time in my life. I was blown away when he wanted to shake my hand and thank me for the help that I and Your Partnerships offer the local business community. He also asked me if I would be okay to help him draw the first tickets in a charity raffle that Hawkins Motor Group were doing to help aid Children's Hospice South West, Merlin-Cornwall's Neuro Therapy Centre, CORNWALL AIR AMBULANCE TRUST and Cornwall Hospice Care. So I just dropped by to get a service on a car and ended up with an early Christmas gift as Mr. Hawkins and I shared a few minutes talking about all things in business in Cornwall and beyond and our families. Thank you to Johnny Hawkins, John Hawkins, James Hawkins M.I.M.I, Miod, Steve Gee, Jason Kane, Sharon Opie, Jeremy Phillips, Drew Bradbury, David Parker, Trevor Dawes, Andrew Orchard, Charlie Springthorpe, Ricky Weston and the entire Hawkins Motor Group Family. Bless you for all you do to help so many and looking forward to an amazing 2025.
