Even after fleeing war & torture, child survivors in the UK face hostility and struggle to access basic needs - like having a safe & stable home. We believe all children deserve to grow up feeling safe. That’s why our teams work tirelessly to provide the support they need to thrive. But we can’t support children without more funds. If you believe that children impacted by torture should have the chance to live for the future, give whatever you can and have your donation doubled - until Tuedsay only. fftdonate.org/big-give-li

Today, Giving Tuesday, remember the child who saved stranded starfish by tossing them back into the ocean, one at a time. YOU can turn the tide against child abuse, saving one child at a time with a donation. Parents, caregivers, teachers, and youth-serving professionals are the first line of defense in preventing child abuse, and your gift, no matter the size, provides critical education. In fact, your donation can train an entire school for as little as $500. Today, YOU can protect children, families and communities. 🚨 Your Help is Needed Now More Than Ever 🚨 At #CASAJWC, our vision is clear: to create a community where every child who has experienced abuse and neglect is given the opportunity to thrive. Unfortunately, significant reductions in VOCA (Victims of Crime Act) funding—amounting to a loss of over $100,000 since 2023—are jeopardizing the stability of our programs and the well-being of the children we serve. As Julie shares, funding shortages threaten our ability to meet the growing need for advocacy and support in our community. While we’ve taken steps to offset these losses, we can’t sustain our impact without your help. Your monthly or one-time donation will help us maintain critical programs, expand support to more youth, and ensure stability during these uncertain times. Every contribution makes a difference—together, we can continue providing hope, advocacy, and life-changing support to the children who need it most. Donate today towards #CASAJWC's 2024 Annual Appeal and help us build brighter futures: https://lnkd.in/eE-9sVZg 💙

By supporting SADD Nation this holiday season, you can play a vital role in helping to impact hundreds of thousands of youth across the country. There is a tremendous need to elevate youth voices on issues affecting them. They have been yelling from the top of the mountains on: ◾ Traffic & Mobility Safety (i.e., addressing #distracteddriving, access to #drivereducation, and advocating for various automobile technology advances) ◾ Health & Mental Health (i.e., increasing #suicideawareness, access to #mentalhealth resources, and the pressures of school, work, extracurricular activities, and home) ◾ Substance Use Prevention (i.e., effects of tobacco & marijuana, addressing the #opioid epidemic, and the relation between mental health and drug use) #SADD is a part of that solution. We give youth more than a voice. We give them a platform to impact themselves and their peers. Through your support, you become part of #SADDNation, a team that will positively educate and inform youth across the country, ultimately helping to #savelives. Join us. www.sadd.org/donate

Yesterday, we shared some of the impressive outcomes your donations have had on the lives of 1,374 children. But let’s not lose sight of the faces behind the numbers. Today, we want to zoom in on one child’s story. Your generosity secured hope for Maya*: Seven-year-old Maya faced hardships no child should have to endure at that age. Her father’s death left her mother to navigate survival for the young family on her own. A pivotal moment came when a job opportunity opened up in our school. Maya’s mother was hired for the position, which gave Maya access to the programs we offer to children of vulnerable women. With your invaluable support, Maya’s family is finding strength through our education and economic development programs. Thanks to your support, both Maya and her mother have hope for a brighter future. To help children and women like these two, donate here: https://lnkd.in/gYPVyfzK *Our commitment is to keep children safe online, and because this child is under the age of 18, her name was changed to protect her identity. #LUV #EndHumanTrafficking #LiftUpTheVulnerable #StopHumanTrafficking #LUVTransforms #EmpoweringLives #Impact #HumanTrafficking #Hope #Transformation #EndOppression #InvestInHope #Protection #StoriesOfImpact
