INTEGRATING #HPV #SCREENING WITH #CONVENTIONAL OTHER #STIs Integrating #HPV into conventional other #STIs #screening in #France and #Armenia : an initiative of the French Health Promotion association www.aremedia.org. In #Paris, #IledeFrance and #Armenia - as part of the "Hôpital Hors Les Murs" programme ( "Hospital Outside the Walls", #HOW) - www.aremedia.org, considering that #papillomaviruses are part of #STIs, is now integrating - in a way that is both innovative and comprehensive - #HPV #screening (for eligible women from HOW programme, mainly living in great precarity (e.g.#SexWorkers) into the conventional range of #HIV, #viralhepatitis and other #STIs #screening services. www.aremedia.org is thus complying with the recent World Health Organization recommendations concerning the #elimination of #cervical #cancer as a #global #Public #Health #priority (@Global HPV). Since 2023, this innovative experience, "feasible and acceptable" for the beneficiaries, carried out "#OutsideTheWalls" - with the support of the @Fondation Cognacq-Jay - will perhaps make it possible, from a broader #sexualhealth perspective, to eventually introduce it in the near future #HPV #screening into the current range of conventional #STIs #screening services offered to mainly living in severe #precarity women (e.g. #SexWorkers.
