On World Meningitis Day, we come together to raise awareness about a disease that affects millions globally, including many in India. Meningitis, an inflammation of the protective membranes covering the brain and spinal cord, can strike suddenly and lead to devastating consequences if not treated promptly. Meningitis affects people of all ages, but infants, young children, and the elderly are particularly vulnerable. In India, where access to healthcare can be challenging, early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent long-term complications or even death. Let us honor those affected by meningitis by spreading knowledge and supporting initiatives that aim to prevent this disease. #WorldMeningitisDay #MeningitisAwareness #VaccinesSaveLives
