1 year ago today - HCD memory
A year ago today. Full of energy and optimism as we ran a creative HCD session that considered “how might we better connect and inspire people across the SCB community”.
Standard Chartered has amazing people across 50-odd countries and we wanted to see how we could help them connect with each other, feel part of the same community, give them a voice and help them support, learn and inspire across geographical and product boundaries.
Thank you again to everyone who participated. You came up with some great ideas. This session was one of my highlights of my time at SCB when we spent a few hours focussing on 6 Cs; customer, culture, community, collaboration, challenge and creativity.
A year on and I’m not at SCB. However, my energy and optimism remains and I know many companies who put the 6 Cs at the core of their values. Here’s raising a glass to you all 🥂
Final thanks to Kate Miller, my amazingly patient and just amazing co-facilitator and to Jenn McAuliffe, Kash Dhanda and Gavin Pryke for supporting us both to become qualified LUMA HCD Facilitators. Aside from encompassing the 6 Cs, HCD is extremely inclusive, respects and listens to all views and gives every participant a voice. Has this ever been needed more than now?
