10 Guiding Principles for the Age of AI

AI should ..

1.        ... augment, not replace, human creativity.

2.       ... empower, not overshadow, human decision-making.

3.        ... enhance, not erode, personal privacy and freedom.

4.        ... facilitate, not dominate, human interactions.

5.        ... support, not substitute, ethical judgment.

6.        ... assist, not supplant, human intelligence.

7.        ... promote, not compromise, transparency and accountability.

8.        ... improve, not impede, equitable access to resources.

9.        ... respect, not infringe upon, individual autonomy.

10.   ... foster, not hinder, continuous learning and adaptation.

True progress lies not in the power of machines but in the wisdom of those who wield them.
