Oh My, we have a lot to do...

In 100 days i'll be heading to Europe to walk 800 Ks across Spain

That came around quick, and we have a lot to do before heading over for the big walk.

What has happened in the last 100 days? - last Month was our biggest ever sales month in retail and on-line. The launch of Golden Lager has been huge for us and the beer is a real winner. This addition completes our flavour wheel - A State of Play beer for all current and a whole lot of new beer occasions - refreshment, indulgence, wind down, warm up, cheersing, celebrating and circulating.

Our subscriptions took off last month too as the convenience of a range of regular beers arriving each month at a really good price (10% off every order) a compelling offer now the sun is out.

We got into the Airpoints store (so you can buy with your airpoints) and for our retailers we are back into Tasman and Allied from next week.

Distribution is hard fought with a lot of new beers released and we have done well to increase our footprint and SKU count. The Mix pack has hit Woolworths Stores and is flying out.

Check out the line up in New World Thorndon - pretty cool to see all FIVE packs lined up 2 1/2 years after launching our IPA. And such a great range now available for shoppers - a bay that didn't exist in stores two years ago.

The next 100 days

First we are making a lot of beer. 100,000 cans are currently in the tank to pack this month. 100,000 cans packed last month. And a 100,000 the month before that!

We believe the premium non-alc category will grow by 50% this summer and we will grow our share by doubling our volume.

Leo (Wizard of workplace wonders) has us well organised in the warehouse with stock and preparing our mix and match cases for you.

December offers up a choice for a lot of Kiwis - go hard celebrating being boozy at the end of a weird year or get a head start on Dry January. Will you approach the Xmas party season differently this year now the choice of zeros is so much better and bigger?

Getting ready for the big walk.

I reassessed my training approach.

My solution to combining training, enjoyment and networking has been to join the Pakuranga Golf Club! Now training is lugging my clubs around the course natterring to different people every round - if you are a Pakuranga player flick over a request to join up for a round.

The Camino planning is going well - especially with my friends at Further Faster - they have been great with gear advice. Plus I have a couple of great mates joining me on the trip. Leon from Bristol is meeting me in Logrono for a week and then Shane from Brisbane meeting up for the last week of the 32 day adventure.

So in the next 12 weeks there will be lots of Ks to walk around the course, very excited to get past 50 ParkRuns in a few weeks time. The Mototapu trail run is the list for March too. Lucky that State of Play beer is isotonic and a performance enhancer.....
