Francis Lapp, Founder and President of Sunreef Yachts, was recognized for his visionary leadership with two major awards in 2024. He was named Sustainability Leader at the Yacht Style Awards in Singapore and Personality of the Year at the World Yachts Trophies during the Cannes Yachting Festival. Sunreef Yachts' innovative models earned global recognition and won several international awards.

A GROWING GLOBAL PRESENCE

In 2024, Sunreef Yachts strengthened its position as the youngest shipyard on the list of the world’s top superyacht builders and the only catamaran shipyard in that ranking. The company also participated in a stellar lineup of prestigious boating events around the globe.

A NEW SHIPYARD IN RAS AL KHAIMAH, UAE

Sunreef Yachts opened its new shipyard in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The state-of-the-art facility spans 65,000 square meters and is currently focused on producing the Ultima catamaran range, with numerous orders already in place. The shipyard is equipped with advanced robotics capable of processing large yacht components, significantly enhancing production efficiency and precision. This expansion represents a major milestone in Sunreef Yachts' strategy to strengthen its global presence and cater to markets in the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.

THE BIGGEST SINGLE-SHOT HULL INFUSION PROJECT IN THE WORLD

After announcing the sale of the third hull of the  Sunreef 43M Eco at this year's Cannes Yachting Festival, Sunreef Yachts has reached a significant milestone in its construction. The Sunreef 43M Eco is set to become the world’s largest eco-electric catamaran. The shipyard in Gdańsk, Poland, has successfully completed the composite hull infusion process, marking it as the biggest single-shot hull infusion project in the yachting industry. 

SUPERYACHT EXPANSION: FIRST SUNREEF 35M ECO-SOLD

Sunreef Yachts sold hull number one of the Sunreef 35M Eco superyacht. This milestone marks a new chapter in sustainable luxury yachting, as demand for eco-responsible catamarans continues to rise globally. 

100 SUNREEF POWER 2.0 LAUNCHED

Sunreef Yachts launched the 100 Sunreef Power 2.0. With several innovative features and immense living space, this exceptional superyacht marks a significant step forward in the shipyard’s ongoing superyacht expansion.  

NEW CATS IN THE RANGE: ULTIMA 77 AND ULTIMA 111

Sunreef Yachts unveiled the latest additions to the ULTIMA range by introducing two exceptional models: the ULTIMA 77 and the ULTIMA 111. Both feature an advanced design that enhances performance and energy efficiency, boasting a sleek hull and generous living space. 

40M SUNREEF EXPLORER ECO: SUSTAINABLE AND TRANSATLANTIC 

Sunreef Yachts has developed a radical 40M Explorer Eco model, designed to take its owners further off the beaten track. With slim, efficient hulls, Sunreef’s ultralight composite build and a state-of-the-art electric powertrain, this electric yacht can cross oceans.

SUSTAINABLE YACHTING 360º

Sunreef Yachts is pioneering a comprehensive approach to eco-friendly yachting through two significant initiatives: the integration of structural foam from recycled PET bottles into yacht construction and participation in a major Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) project managed by the European Boating Industry and aimed at developing tools for accurately assessing the environmental footprint of yachts throughout their entire lifecycle.

TWO EXCITING PARTNERSHIPS

Sunreef Yachts has officially launched a strategic partnership with BRABUS, the renowned luxury mobility brand, to develop a unique line of high-end luxury motor catamarans. This collaboration combines the expertise of both companies, leveraging decades of manufacturing experience to create an innovative catamaran concept based on the ULTIMA 55, set for release in 2025. 

Sunreef Yachts Eco has joined forces with Rafael Nadal’s E1 Team as an official partner. The E1 series represents the world’s first high-speed electric boat race, emphasizing marine conservation and green boating. 

SUNREEF ECO CLUB IN FUZHOU

The inauguration of the Sunreef Eco Club in Fuzhou marks a significant milestone for Sunreef Yachts, as leader in energy-efficient luxury yachts. The event took place at the Citychamp Dartong Yacht Club, where the Eco Club will serve as a showroom and promote clean boating locally.
