Digital Tools
Here are some of the latest Digital Tools.
Twee
Twee is an AI tool designed specifically for English language teachers. It's based on a chatbot like ChatGPT, but it has a comprehensive collection of prompt templates that you can easily edit and submit to create your own content. This makes creating quizzes, comprehension activities and worksheets much faster. It even has project spaces so that you can save the materials you produce for each lesson and find them again later. A real time saver for teachers to have all of these tools in one place, and you don't have to spend hours studying prompt writing.
Word Tune
This is an interesting writing assistant tool that can suggest ways to rephrase the sentences in your text. Interesting activity to do with students to help them evaluate which is the better way to phrase the sentence and how it changes meaning. Check out their YouTube channel for tutorials and writing improvement exercises.
Excuse Generator
This is an AI excuse generator. You can choose scenarios, and it will make excuse text messages with different levels of formality. Get students challenging and trying to make better excuses
Carlos
Carlos is a language practice AI bot that you can use to practice multiple languages. Carlos can start conversations on any topic in the language of your choice. Carlos uses text-to-speech and speech-to-text, so students can practice speaking and listening.
Vizard
This is a useful AI assisted tool for creating short form video clips from longer webinars. It also helps you to edit, add subtitles and change the layout, so they are suitable for posting on social media.
AI Dungeon
Students can use this app to engage in an AI generated digital fantasy adventure. They choose the type of game and their character then work through the scenario, reading and making decisions along the way as the AI responds and generates the narrative. This is a great way to make reading more engaging.
