5 actions for getting a TON of clients

In this post, I’ll break down some of the things that my Clients Like Clockwork program covers.

I’ll go through 5 actions that’ll help you get more of the clients you want. These 5 actions are:

Putting this knowledge into practice will not only help you get more clients, it’ll help you get clients who happily pay you the fees you want.

Action #1: Clarify Your Audience

You've got the skills, the passion, and the drive to make a real difference in people's lives. 

But before you can start transforming lives, you need to know exactly whose lives you want to transform. 

Who are the people you want to reach out to? What are their problems that you can solve? Clarifying your audience isn't just about narrowing down your focus; it's about aligning your unique skills and passions with the people who will benefit the most from them.

Understanding your audience and overcoming the biggest challenges in picking a profitable niche is a critical starting point. You’re not just choosing a group of people; you're choosing the people whose lives you want to enrich.

Putting it into action…

  • Identify Your Ideal Client's Characteristics: Start by picturing your ideal client. Who are they? What do they struggle with? Knowing these details helps you create tailored messages that speak directly to their needs.
  • Research Your Market: Use online tools, surveys, and even one-on-one interviews to understand the unique problems and desires of your target audience. Become an expert on what makes them tick.
  • Evaluate Your Competition: What are other people in your niche doing? Understanding your competition can help you identify gaps in the market and opportunities to differentiate yourself.
  • Test and Refine: Your understanding of your audience will evolve. Don't be afraid to test different approaches and refine your strategies as you learn more about your audience.
  • Don’t Forget Your Passion and Expertise: Your niche should align with what you're passionate about and where your expertise lies. This alignment creates authenticity and attracts those you are best suited to help.


Action #2: Build Your Foundation

Building your coaching business isn't just about finding clients; it's about creating a system that can consistently deliver results. 

Think of it as constructing a bridge that connects your clients to their goals. The stronger and more reliable the bridge, the more people will want to cross it. 

That’s where your foundation comes in. It’s about developing a rock-solid system that not only instills confidence in your clients but also in yourself.

When you know, with absolute certainty, that you can guide your clients to success, it transforms the way you coach, and the confidence you bring to the table. 

You can charge higher prices because you're delivering higher value. You create raving fans who refer others to your services. You become an in-demand coach.

Putting it into action…

  • Give your client clarity: Develop a program tailored to your clients' needs. Outline clear objectives and deliverables for each stage.
  • Showcase Success Stories: Gather testimonials and case studies from previous clients. These success stories can build trust and demonstrate your expertise.
  • Set Realistic Goals: Help your clients set achievable goals that align with their needs and desires. Break them down into manageable milestones to track progress.
  • Provide Incredible Support: Regular check-ins, personalized feedback, and ongoing encouragement can foster client satisfaction and promote success.
  • Build a Referral Program: Encourage word-of-mouth marketing by incentivizing happy clients to refer others to your coaching service. Give them an experience they want to brag about!


Action #3: Get Yourself Out There

Imagine having a treasure chest full of knowledge, tools, and insights that can change lives. 

But what good are they if nobody knows about them? Getting yourself out there isn't just a marketing catch-phrase; it's about sharing your gifts with the world.

It's about becoming a beacon of light for those who need what you have to offer. 

Whether through social media, networking, joint ventures, or building an email list, these are channels to reach the hearts and minds of potential clients. These are the pathways that connect your coaching and knowledge to the people who need it most.

Putting it into action…

  • Build an Online Presence: Start a blog, share insightful content on social media, and engage with your audience regularly. Show up where your potential clients are, and be consistent in sharing valuable insights.
  • Offer Value First: Share free resources, tips, or short courses that demonstrate your expertise and help potential clients. Show them what you can do before they've committed, and they'll be more likely to take the next step.
  • Collaborate with Others: Partner with other coaches or industry experts to host webinars, write guest posts, or create joint products. These collaborations can expand your reach and credibility.
  • Attend Networking Events: Don't underestimate the power of face-to-face interaction. Attend industry events, local meetups, and conferences. Engage with others in your field and potential clients. Personal connections can lead to powerful opportunities.


Action #4: Schedule Intro Sessions

An intro session isn't just a casual meet-and-greet; it's a golden opportunity to showcase your value. It's a brief window where you can transform a skeptic into a believer or turn curiosity into commitment.

Crafting and delivering an irresistible intro session is like giving a taste of the transformation you can provide. It’s a sampler of your coaching magic. When done right, it doesn't just attract potential clients; it captivates them.

Putting it into action…

  • Create a Sign-Up Funnel That Lasts: This is all about designing a client sign-up funnel that works seamlessly and keeps attracting prospects without constant effort. Think of it as setting a trap that catches opportunities even when you're not looking.
  • Craft a Red Hot Free Session Offer: Your offer needs to resonate with your target audience. What are they craving? What would make them drop everything and say, “I need this now!”? Make it irresistible by hitting those pain points and offering a taste of the transformation you provide.


Action #5: Turn Them Into Clients

The moment of truth, and it’s where all your work comes together to finally turn a prospect into a real paying client. 

Turning prospects into clients is where your empathy, understanding, and persuasive skills come into full play. 

But this isn’t about hard-selling or manipulating. It's about aligning your services with their needs in a way that feels natural, authentic, and irresistible.

It’s about getting that prospect to say “YES” to your coaching.
