5 Investor Club Questions We Have Been Asked 1,000+ Times
Happy Friday - I wanted to share this video and, below it, a written out Q&A on the top 5 questions we have gotten over 1,000 times now on our investor club. I hope this helps clear up what we do, don't do, and how we operate for those of you looking to get more involved.
1. Can I join for free and pay you later after I raise capital or close a deal, or pay you a commission on capital raised?
We are not capital introduction or placement agents; we are membership-based. We understand that aligning parties is important in business. Just like you want a salesperson incentivized to make sales, we get that 100%. Our alignment comes from the value we provide. Our $2,999 membership gets you into our events for four months, and after that, you can stay a member or not as it rolls into $385/month. If we don’t deliver amazing value, we lose you as a member—that’s our incentive. We currently have over 800 active, paying subscribers in our community of peer founders and investors for a reason - we add massive value to them. If you want to see value before committing, we completely understand. That’s why we encourage you to check out our YouTube channel, which now has over 1 million subscribers. Watch 30-60 minutes of our $100M Rainmaker Mini-Series (or the full 17 episodes) to get $25k-$100k of value quickly. It’s packed with 30 strategies, case studies, and insights, whether you’re preparing for acquisitions, raising capital, or leveling up to raise ultra-wealthy investor (family office) capital. You’ll hear new ideas that others aren’t discussing, and you can easily get a 10x return on your membership before you even pay for it if that’s what you’re looking for. Here’s a link to the $100M Rainmaker YouTube mini-series to de-risk joining our investor club today.
2. Can I purchase a ticket to a single event? If I’m a member, do I still have to purchase tickets?
We don’t sell tickets to our events—either to non-members or members. Our events are exclusive, members-only experiences, which is what creates a real sense of community. When you start your membership for $2,999 (or $4,850, depending on the level), you get access to all of our events for four full months. We host 16 in-person events a year, and there are no additional ticket costs while you’re a member.
You can also leverage your membership by having different members of your team attend different events based on availability or location. Plus, you gain access to our “Netflix-like” investor portal, with 50 HD investor club events available for streaming and over 1,000 investors recorded discussing their areas of investment. Competing events charge $2,000-$3,450 for a single ticket, but with our community, you get multiple events for about the same price, plus the portal.
3. Do you have any investors open to investing in ________?
Yes, we likely do. We have 7,500 registered investors in our club, and unique investors attend each of our events. However, what we’ve found consistently is that investors don’t invest based on promises of the highest returns. Instead, they invest in those they trust, who they understand, and who have unique edges and compelling offers.
For example, we have investors who’ve had exits in manufacturing, technology, auto dealerships, and real estate, but I’ve never asked them if they’re specifically interested in a stem cell therapy center, a profitable plumbing company, or a multifamily conversion deal. How you ask, with what team, what materials, and what investment structure changes everything.
So if you’re raising capital for an AI startup or operating business in a niche like HVAC companies, you’re essentially waving your flag and pitching something unique. We haven’t gone around asking all of our investors if they’d invest in HVAC, and even if we did, those preferences would change next month. What matters is how well they know you and your unique offer, not just the niche.
That’s why we are an investor community and membership-based, not ticket-based. A unique edge, a compelling offer, and high-conviction trust lead to investments, not grandiose claims of a 10x return. Our founder, Richard C. Wilson, recently interviewed Dr. Robert Cialdini, an expert on influence and persuasion. When asked what the #1 most powerful way to close investors is, Cialdini said it’s meeting in person—it’s 16 times more effective than pitching via Zoom or email.
In our club, you can attend in-person events to meet potential investors at over a dozen events per year. Most of our members attend 3-5 events annually as a team. You can also leverage our investor club portal to identify new investors, use our niche investor lead databases (for VIP members), access capital-raising strategies, and improve your deal structures, investment marketing materials (pitch decks & one-pagers), due diligence, and positioning.

4. How do I de-risk this decision or investment in membership? Do you guarantee results? Is this real?
The most powerful thing to maintain is an ethical reputation, and that’s what we strive for. Our track record in the space speaks for itself. Our founder, Richard C. Wilson, has interviewed Tony Robbins, Mark Cuban, Joe Williams (founder of Keller Williams), Mike Tyson, Jeff Hoffman, Paul Hutchinson (from Sound of Freedom), many centimillionaires on stage (in our portal now), and 41 billionaires in total on his Billionaires.com media platform. We have had over 2,000 investors speak on our stages over the years so far.
We’ve hosted 275 investor club events over 17 years, written 13 books, and produced over 3,000 videos. Our YouTube channel, Centimillionaire Strategies has over 1 million subscribers. In total, we have 16.5 million social media followers and group members, and we believe our investor club has more followers than any other globally.
Our events feature more ultra-wealthy investors (family offices) on stage than any other events globally. We own FamilyOffices.com, InvestorClub.com, Billionaires.com, and CapitalRaising.com, and we constantly reinvest in our business to expand the moat around our community. We have over 300 testimonials from members, including 100+ video founder testimonials, and 100+ investor testimonials about the value we provided them.
If you’d like to chat, we’re happy to jump on a call to answer any questions or discuss how we can help. You can also view or print our one-pager here on our investor club. If after reviewing all this, $2,999 still feels expensive, we may simply not be the right community for you. The value we offer is 10x-100x what we charge, and this is a small investment to transform your investor relations and capital-raising results by joining our community of founders and investors. 5. Can you make introductions to investors for me after I join?
While our investor portal does have 1,000+ investors recorded in HD stating their investment preferences and areas of investment, and each of our live events has unique investors attending and speaking, we can't make one-on-one introductions. Over the last 20 years we have heard of 1-2 groups which do this for $30,000-$50,000 per event, but our memberships start at $2,999 and we have found forced meetings on investors are inauthentic and scare away the highest quality investors. Relationships are generated through our in-person events, our investor portal mobile app, and through our event networking app which can be used in-person and for virtual attendees to network and form meet-up groups in real time with peer founders and investors.
Finally, as a member you can also request contact details for speakers you see on stage that you would like to follow up with. Through helping you expand your capital network, improve your due diligence, deal structuring, and scaling strategies - we are confident you will highly value being a member of our investor community.
I hope sharing theses questions and answers helps you get to know us a bit better, how we think, operate, and how we could keep in touch as we both grow.
What additional questions do you have? Please comment below and I will get back to you as soon as I can with answers.
