5 Tips to Help You Stop Mumbling

Do you struggle with mumbling? If so, there are a few steps you can take to help yourself speak clearly and confidently.

1) Practice. Practice speaking in front of a mirror or video so that you can see how your mouth moves to clearly form words.

2) Record Yourself. Record yourself speaking, and then listen back to identify any unclear sounds.

3) Focus. Focus on speaking more slowly and deliberately - this will help ensure that you are not dropping sounds or syllables.

4) Breathe! Practice deep breathing to help you produce a strong voice.

5) Pay Attention to your Posture. Maintain good posture while you’re speaking. In addition to helping you feel more confident, good posture keeps your airways open so that you can speak more clearly.

With practice and patience, you'll be able to overcome this issue! I'm here to work with you to make sure that you speak clearly and that you are heard!
