6 Tips for Time Management & Balance

6 Tips for Time Management & Balance

We all have 24 hours in a day. Where we differ is how we see and use that time.

How do you see time, something limited and in need to control or simply a natural phenomenon and a process of life we have full control over?

How we see and use our time directly impacts our success and wellbeing.

Manage your energy, not your time. If your car runs out of gas, do you have the time to refill it?

What is time was just an illusion?

6 Tips to Creating More Time:

1.    It is your time. use the time the way you want, choose to. This way you shift time to work for you rather than against you, creating more time to do what you choose in life, what gives you energy, joy, what is aligned with your passions, values. By being more aware, clear, and intentional about use of your time you keep your energy high.

2.    Set clear goals, your true desired end results, followed with reasonable strategies and tasks/tactics/daily activities to focus your energy where it needs to be.

3.    Have no judgment about yourself and your performance. Judgment lowers your energy, engagement, access to your potential in the moment. Where can you learn and go from here?

4.    Be fully in the moment, being fully aware and conscious who you are, and how you work. That way you resonate at a higher level of energy, doing what you ‘want to’ instead of ‘have to’. When you are in the moment, you get into the flow, taping to your genius, intuition, creativity, potential, and time slows down, you get more done with less effort.

5.    Celebrate little wins. When was the last time you gave yourself credit for achieving anything, small or big?

6.    Create a balanced daily routine that works for you and is aligned with your big picture – e.g. goals, values, purpose, vision. And … remember to pause, breath, feel, observe, reconnect.

Are you spending enough time on the most important aspects of your life?

Conflict comes when our activities, obligations, commitments, and responsibilities are not aligned without values and priorities in life.

I struggle on the judgement. Sometimes I am super focused and other times not. I am working on accepting that fact and not beating myself out about it. Where can I find other time management resources btw?

This is a great reminder Natalya Berdikyan; a mentor once told me that Mother Theresa only had 24 hours in a day ... if she could do what she did, then surely we can too :)
