Abysmal Sales For Your Program?

Abysmal Sales For Your Program?

Have you poured your heart and soul into creating a program only to gain zero sales?

It's a painful truth that many coaches and consultants face: a great program isn't great if it doesn't resonate with your ideal clients.

So, let's get real.

To get your ideal clients to even be remotely interested in buying your program, your curriculum has to speak your ideal clients' language.

That language is a program addresses their needs, desires, and pain points.

I know this is not an easy ask as it means you have to understand what is going on inside your ideal client's head.

So the first step is gaining that intimate understanding.

You need to know your ideal client inside and out.

What keeps them up at night?

What dreams and aspirations drive them?

What specific problems are they desperate to solve?

Without this level of understanding, you're shooting in the dark.

Gaining sales for your curriculum means you have to hit the mark with how you talk about the program—being selective about the stories you tell, the expertise you highlight, and the passion you convey.

It's about showcasing your unique value in a way that makes your ideal client say, "Wow, this is exactly what I need."

This requires a strategic approach to content creation, event planning, discovery calls, and the curriculum itself.

Sounds easy enough.

Yet, so many people I have spoken to are so enamored with their curriculum—because they have poured themselves into it—that they are turning a blind eye to the fact that their sales of their curriculum are abysmal.

Creating a curriculum that resonates often requires an identity shift.

It's about letting go of who you used to be and embracing who you are today.

This shift can be challenging, especially if you've been clinging to an old identity for a long time.

And it's necessary for growth.

You need to own your current credibility and expertise and leverage that in your curriculum.

You need to believe that who you are today is more than enough to create powerful, transformative experiences for your clients.

This confidence will shine through in your curriculum, making it more compelling and effective.

So, how do you start this transformation?

Here are some tangible steps you can take:

1. Conduct Deep Client Research: Spend time talking to your ideal clients. Understand their struggles, goals, and what they value most in a program.

2. Audit Your Current Curriculum: Look at what you're currently offering. Does it align with what your clients need? Are there elements that are outdated or irrelevant?

3. Craft Compelling Stories: Use storytelling to connect with your clients on an emotional level. Share your experiences and expertise in a way that resonates with them.

4. Showcase Your Passion: Let your enthusiasm and passion shine through in every aspect of your curriculum. Clients are drawn to energy and authenticity.

5. Seek Feedback: Continuously gather feedback from your clients and make adjustments to your curriculum as needed. This ensures that it remains relevant and effective.

When you take these steps, you'll experience a transformation not only in your curriculum but in your entire approach to coaching or consulting.

You'll create a program that truly resonates with your ideal clients, leading to better engagement, higher satisfaction, and more significant results.

Imagine a curriculum that consistently delivers simple, effective, and predictable outcomes for your clients.

Picture yourself confident and proud of what you offer, knowing that it genuinely makes a difference.

This is the power of a well-crafted curriculum that speaks directly to the hearts and minds of your ideal clients.

It's also what gets the sale, which is the whole point of why you put the curriculum together in the first place.
