Accelerating Teams and Molding Leaders: L&D Team Congratulates Graduates from ADVANCE 2.0 Program

The ADVANCE Executive Development Program is designed to empower functional heads, successors, and high potential leaders to embrace the ever-changing roles in today’s modern work. This program is anchored on the Gokongwei Group’s purpose, values, and ambition to provide participants with the best-in-class experiential learning by offering business-centric learning experiences, opportunities for personal reflection, new ways of thinking, and innovative leadership.

ADVANCE 2.0 aspires to prepare our next line of talents and leverage successful initiatives towards accelerating the development of potential successors through modules that capture different touchstones in a leader’s journey. The first module held last August 15 provided clarity on how the personal brand of leadership can contribute to business success. The second module executed last August 27 introduced practical ways of amplifying team successes and leveraging individual talents. Finally, the last module on August 28 unpacked the process of building muscles to identify new and innovative ideas that promote business growth. All of which showcase our leaders’ abilities to adopt dynamic systems and embody sustainable practices in the pursuit of daring to do more.

To celebrate a remarkable achievement that highlights our value growth opportunities across the institution, the URC Learning and Development Team was happy to welcome the participants during the graduation program held last September 10 at The Westin Manila in Ortigas. We congratulate Ara Regina P. Villanueva (Director and Tribe Lead, Powdered Beverages Category), Joseph Jonathan Andy G. Custodio (Director and Tribe Lead, RTD Category), Rogelio Jr Callueng (Director, Manufacturing Operations – SURE), Paul Alexis A. Borgonia (Director, Category Platform – Snackfoods), and Vikas Rai (Manufacturing Director – BCFG PH) for finishing the program. We also express our gratitude to JG Summit Holdings, Inc. and Deloitte SEA Consulting for bringing this program to fruition. May we continue to seek out training avenues that will help us create a promising and sustainable future in URC.
