Adventure is Out There: Announcing Upcoming Recruitment Events for Youth
Catalina Council, BSA (Boy Scouts of America) is a local nonprofit youth organization dedicated to bettering the character development of young men and women through opportunities to give back to the community, learn essential survival skills, and participate in outdoor activities. In early December, seven recruitment nights across Southern Arizona will take place, and families of grade K-5 youth will have the opportunity to learn about the Cub Scout program with fun activities for the kids.
Scouts and adult leaders will attend the recruitment nights and be available to answer questions. By signing up before the end of the year, families will be able to take advantage of the full array of programs the Council has planned for 2024.
“These events are a great opportunity to show families what Scouting is all about. The AIMS or objectives of BSA are character, leadership, citizenship, and personal fitness. By helping the next generation, it not only benefits the youth and families, but also our community as a whole.” -Dr. Shannon Roberts, CEO of Catalina Council, BSA
