After three years of developing »the best urban electric bicycle in the world«, Noordung hit a critical milestone. Our Noordung electric bike reached a level of maturity where it can be industrialized and mass manufactured. A lot of time has passed and a lot of resources and energy was invested since our first prototype. We learned a lot on the way (many mistakes included) and developed our product to a stage where we can take great pride in it. We have reached our primary goal – we can claim, with great pride and confidence, that we developed the best urban bicycle in the world! By far.

Our clients played a key role, even in the prototyping phase. That's why we offered a few of our pre-production models for sale. Due to the super-exclusivity, expensive manufacturing and materials, the bicycles were very expensive, from 12,000 EUR for the basic model to 14,000 EUR and more for the Noordung Custom. In spite of the high price, we managed to find a first few »angel« buyers, who gave us invaluable feedback and advice, while also providing us with the financial means to further develop our product. We are forever grateful to them.

We have reached a stage, where we are preparing to launch the first »large« production series of 300 bikes (which is obviously still a limited and exclusive number). Through economies of scale and production optimization, we managed to significantly cut down our production costs. We are, thus, able to afford to offer our bike at a significantly lower price.

From the very beginning, our goal was to build the best electric bike for ourselves and for people like us. Those who appreciate design, innovation, high tech and attention to detail. Those who defy the status quo. Who dare to be different. And especially those who know and share our view on how to enjoy this journey of life.

Therefore, we are launching, with great pride and pleasure, our core model – Noordung Voyager – available exclusively through our online store www.noordung.com for only 5,190.00 EUR + tax (6,331.80 EUR with 22% VAT for EU citizens). Our flagship model – Noordung Individual – customizable per buyer's request is available for 7,490.00 EUR + tax (9,137.00 EUR with 22% VAT for EU citizens).

We realize that, despite this price drop, our bikes still remain one of the more expensive ones on the market, however, we are confident that they are the best on the market and well worth their money. We hope to collect 300 orders and launch our first production series very soon.
