#1 Celebrate World Art Nouveau Day in Prague

June 10 is World Art Nouveau Day, and what better city to celebrate the beauty and elegance of this artistic movement than Prague. The Czech capital's many Art Nouveau landmarks include the intricate designs of the Municipal House as well as artist Alfons Mucha's stained glass window in St. Vitus Cathedral. #2 Slovak President Čaputová visits Prague before leaving office

Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová will visit Prague on June 12 and 13 as one of her final official trips before leaving office on June 15. The visit, which comes at the invitation of Czech President Petr Pavel, highlights the close diplomatic relations between the two nations. Čaputová will arrive at Prague Castle on June 12, followed by a private meeting between the presidential couples. On June 13, she will be honoured with a state award presented by Pavel.

#3 Help save lives on World Blood Donor Day

June 14 is World Blood Donor Day, which draws attention to patients who need blood transfusions throughout their lives, thanks blood donors, and encourages others to donate. In Prague, blood can be donated at most major hospitals in cooperation with regional offices of the Czech Red Cross. About 225,000 people in the Czech Republic donate blood annually, with around 30,000 new donors added each year.

#4 Take advantage of free entrance to Prague museums and galleries

After a four-year hiatus, Prague’s Museum Night will return on June 15. The event will offer free evening and night access to over 30 museums and galleries from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. It aims to popularize culture by featuring informative and entertaining programs and providing free admission and transport.

#5 Get a taste of the Tour de France in Prague

The world's most prestigious bicycle race will kick off in France later this month, but fans in the Czech Republic will get a head start on the festivities. On June 15, Prague will host L’Etape Czech Republic by Tour de France, offering a chance to experience the iconic race’s atmosphere in various locations across the city.
