Akashic Records Reading vs Psychic Reading - What's the Difference???

Akashic record readings and psychic readings differ primarily in their source of information and the nature of what is accessed.  An Akashic Record reading involves accessing your Akashic Records and the information found within, while a Psychic Reading is the person using heightened intuition or tools to tap into your energy to gather information.

Psychics may use different methods such as tarot cards, astrology, mediumship, palm reading, tea leaves, runes, etc. or pure clairvoyance to access information. The methods they use can vary widely depending on the psychic's abilities and if they use chosen tools, what they are shown. Akashic Records Readers have specific techniques they use to access the information found within Records.  It does require a more structured approach to connect with the “information library” and locate the specific soul they are looking for.  I find the way your soul’s journey is affecting your current situation is very important in knowing why something is happening and what you can change.

A big difference in the two types of readings is the Akashic Records are a record of your soul’s journey used during the reading, while a Psychic Reading is more focused on your current life experience.  The Akashic Records readings tend to be more spiritually oriented and esoteric, while psychic readings are often more practical and immediate in application to personal life issues. Although both are of benefit for what is happening in the now, they take different approaches.

When I worked as an Intuitive Money Healer, I used my heightened psychic abilities to find what the person needed to see and the block they created during this lifetime that needed to be removed and healed.  When I learned how to read the Akashic Records, my work evolved into looking for the “soul’s story” that was creating the current situation or block in this lifetime… yet was found in their past life and brought forward. I soon realized through my work with clients that if we went into the soul’s history and healed it from there, it had greater impact and results. The root cause must be addressed.

Although I can go into and use the records “in the moment” while talking to someone, I like doing my Akashic Records Soul Story Reading most.  I do this by connecting to the person’s record, asking to see the story that is affecting them in the now, plus looking at the way the soul’s energetics and how it likes to create abundance via the way it was created originally.  Our soul has a lot to share with us that can make our life more pleasant!

Because we are all mind/body/soul using the Akashic Records of the soul’s journey in a reading brings in a component to learning and healing that a general psychic reading rarely does.  I’ve done both over the years and find that because all healing is about focus and intention looking at the journey the soul previously experienced will bring profound understanding, especially for things that don’t make any logical sense.   Healing is all about shifting energy and if something is continuing to happen over and over I find that usually the client is trying to heal it on a soul level because it wasn’t healed in the past so carried forward from another lifetime.

Both reading serve a purpose and I think we are led to what we need when we need it, so if you are led to have an Akashic Records reading rather Psychic Reading it is the experience you need in this moment!
