Annapurna Base Camp Trekking 14 Days

DAY 01: Arrival, Reception, Transferred to the Hotel &Welcome Dinner [1300m.]

Once you arrive at Tribhuban International Airport (TIA) Kathmandu Nepal. You will meet the Reception Members of our Heaven Adventure Treks Private Limited Team with fabulous greetings and welcome right at the airport Arrival Terminal itself. Then we'll be transported to the hotels of your choice/recommendation after completion of some immigration formalities (if any). During the Dinner you will be introduced with our team and /or your trekking /tour guides where you will enjoy special Nepali taste with typical Nepali cultural performances. You'll get the detailed planning of the tour and your overall activities/schedule during the stay will be further finalized (if required). You will spend the night at the assigned hotels with curious mindset for your coming days.

DAY 02: KTM Sightseeing Tour UNESCO World Heritage Sites Included (Kathmandu Durbar Square,Pashupatinath, Swayambhu, Boudhanath) ORADay at Leisure. [1300m]

This day will be the day to start to materialize your "DREAMS" about NEPAL. Obviously you will be with your guide assigned for you/your team for refreshment and sightseeing which includes the worth seeing UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu. The taste of Nepali medieval history, Hindu shrine and Buddhist shrine will tease your sense. Firstly we'll get to Swoyambhunath Monkey Temple: the oldest shrine in Nepal from where you can have a snapshot look of the whole city/Kathmandu valley. 

Then we will reach to Kathmandu Durbar Square which encompasses temples and 17th century Royal palace of Nepal called Basantapur/Hanumandhoka Durbar (palace).There we'll meet the living goddess Kumari and her house called Kumari Ghar. Kasthamandap, the house made up of only wood from a single saal tree called Bishet,will allure you. Kathmandu got its name from the long deviation of the word Kasthamandap. You will really enjoy it! Our journey to Pashupatinath most visited Hindu shrine will be different from the others because you will realize the life while you see Hindu corpses being burnt nearby it at Aaryaghaat: the way to heaven!. After it, the Bouddhanath Stupa the largest ever of its kind in Nepal will fascinate you towards Buddhism. It is believed that a piece Kashyap Buddha's bone is left here. If time favors we may visit nearby temples, monastery and museums as well. Our tired but interesting day will end at our hotels in the evening where we will brief you about our tour/trek outside Kathmandu.

DAY 03: Fly & Drive to Pokhara [850m] 30 min flight& 6-7 Hour 

We start after Breakfast it we will head towards Pokhara,the queen of Nepali cities. After we reach there in a drive of 7+ hours, we will go to Phewa Lake for boating and view of reflected sunset in the lake. In this way our day will rest at a hotel there. Pokhara is city of lakes and caves from where we can view Machhapuchhre(fishtail), Dhaulahgiri and Annapurna I,II,III Mountains,naturally heaven like----yes.Our day will be more hilarious now. After purchasing mementos and souvenirs we rest in our hotel for the night where you can fully enjoy colourful night life too.

DAY 04: Trek Starts Pokhara-Naya Pul - Ulleri[2050m]: 1Hours drive and 5-6 Hour 

After Breakfast at morning we will start drive to Nayapool (1050m) the guide escorts you to Nayapool. From Nayapool we are start our trekking follow the south bank of Modi Khola, we reach birethanti (1065m). The TIMS check pot is on the east side of the flag-festooned bridge. Cross the bridge to show our ACAP Permit at the ACAP check post. The trail stays on the north bank of the bhurungdi khola. We will pass through sub-tropical valley forest, rice field, mountain people lifestyle and sometime on the carved trail on the side of the cliff .After several hours trekking we reach at tikhedhunga (1500m) and having lunch there. After tikhedhunga we cross the Modi Khola via a Suspension bridge to the Village of Tikhedhunga. We further trek along the trail quite steep at times. We reach Ulleri the Ulleri hill with thousands of steps and boulders that continually go upward would really prove a test of your stamina.

DAY 05: Trek Ulleri to Ghorepani [2750m] 4-5 Hours 

The unrelenting staircase continues to the large Magar Village of Ulleri(2050m).Which continues to climb through cultivated fields and the trail enters magnificent oak and rhododendron. The fields soon give way to deep forests as the trail climbs to Banthanti (2450m) and reach the Ghorepani (2750m).The name Ghorepani in Nepali means "thirty horse-water owing to its role as an important campsite for traders before it become a trkker's stop. The hillside be low Ghorepani are swathed in eight different species of rhododendron, including the crimson-red flowering lali gurans, Nepali national flower. Ghorepani is an interesting town that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri and Dhaulagiri.

DAY 06: Trek Ghorepani-Poon Hill -Tatopani [2750m-3210m-2590m ] 6-7 Hour

An early morning most of the trekkers wake up before dawn and hotfoot it to the viewpoint to see the peaks in the first red rays of the sun from Poon Hill (3210m). From poon hill we will see superb view of Sunrise and panoramic view of Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8176m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7220m), Mt. Fish tail (6993m) Machhapuchhare, and Mt. Manaslu (8156m). After visiting Poon Hill we will back to Ghorepani having a hot breakfast and continue walking to Deurali (3180m) and to Tadapani (2590m). Descend through rhododendron forest, pass by small mountain villages and spectacular waterfalls along the way to Tadapani. The views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare are spectacular form here, especially at sunset and from the Shiva Temple just above the Village. Tadapani means ‘far water' and the water supply is a long distance below the village of Tadapani.

DAY 07: Tadapani to Sinuwa [2360m] 6-7 Hours Trek

An early morning wake up with the sunshine on the Annapurna South (7220m). After breakfast from Tatopain we make a steep descent through the dense and dark rhododendron forest. Then we descent steeply down the village of chuile coming over to the kimrong Khola. Then a steep climb continuing up to through Chhomrong. Is here is a tremendous view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare (fish tall) towering above the village. Leaving Chhomrong, the trail descends 150m on a stone staircase and crosses the chhomrong Khola on a swaying suspension bridge at 1860m, then climbs out of the side valley via the tiny settlement of Tilche,through forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach Sinuwa(2360m)

DAY 08: Sinuwa to Deurali[3210m] 6-7 Hours Trek

After breakfast the day starts with gentle gradual ascend following the trail above the river through a thick bamboo, Descend a long steep slippery stone staircase into a dense bamboo and rhododendron forest, before arriving at Bamboo (2310m).The trail climbs steeply through stands of bamboo, then through rhododendron forest up the side of the canyon. We cross two streams over small bridges. The trail further passes through solitary place. There's a sing in Nepali saying that one should not carry eggs or meat beyond this point. The trial until reach Deurali is also possibility of seeing a variety of species of wildlife such as wild pig, deer and snow leopard.

DAY 09: Deurali to ABC (Annapurna Base Camp) [4130m] 4-5 Hours Trek

Today we start our trek to heading Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). The trail climbs gently through a river bank of Modi. The valley widens and become less steep, and you can see the gates to the sanctuary as the mountains really start to make their presence felt. After heavy snowfall, avalanches from Hiunchuli and Annapurna South, peaks that are above this point but not visible, come crash into the valley with frightening speed and frequency. When the sunrises the snow on mountains shine and river valley is filled with warm sun rays. The hike to MBC is somewhat strenuous but the unfolding views of the majestic Machhapuchre are certainly a rewarding experience. We will encounter with the snow boulders melting and forming small streams. The path widens as we enter the Sanctuary, follows a stream, and then climbs to a few huts alongside a moraine. Annapurna base camp sanctuary boasts of a dynamic view without anything impeding panorama of 360 degrees. The heart inspiring views of machhapuchre (6993m) Annapurna South (7219m) Annapurna I (8091m) hiuchuli and other peaks.

DAY 10: ABC to Bamboo [2310m] 5-6 Hours Trek

An early morning weak up with sun we relish the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas from Annapurna Base Camp. The rim of the glacier for Unforgettable views and photo opportunities the circle of peaks, clockwise for Machhapuchhare (Fish Tall) (6993m) Annapurna South (7219m) the hung ice wall topped by Annapurna I (8091m). After breakfast we start descending from Annapurna Base camp to Machhapuchhare Base camp through Derail, Himalayan Hotel, Doven and bamboo. Heading back down the valley is much easier. Even if we do some exploring in Annapurna base camp we should have no problem reaching Bamboo.

DAY 11: Bamboo To Jhinu Dada (Hot Spring) [1760m.5-6 Hours Trek

After breakfast we retreat from bamboo, we trekback to Sinuwa and the descend to Lower Chomrong. Then again we ascend on yhe thousand stony steps taking us to Upper Chomrong. Is here is a tremendous view of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhare (fish tall) towering above the village. We further descand to Jhinu Danda. Upon arrival at Jhinu Danda we get opportunity to enjoy hot springs lying just a 15 min walk from Jhinu Danda. Descend to the river for a punge in the hot springs on its bank of Modi River.

DAY 12: Jhinu Dada to Naya Pul to Pokhara 5-6 hours Trek 1 Hours' Drive.

After breakfast today we trek from Jhinu danda to New bridge and trek down the west bank trail to Ghandruk Phadi and continue to the hamlet of Sumi from Sumi an hour's jeep ride returns we to Syauli bazaar and then down to Birethanti. The trek ends at Naya Pul. We make wonderful circle and get back to Pokhara.

DAY 13: Flight&Drive to Kathmandu 30min flight&7-8 hour Drive

The tour is almost over! But many more things left to be done. After taking breakfast we will drive and flight back to Pokhara from there we will reach to Kathmandu by the evening. We might have short visits to the nearby areas depending on the flight schedule. After arriving Kathmandu we will transported to a hotel for rest and food. After spending some hours on shopping and selecting souvenirs we will go for a farewell dinner with the presence of our team where we will analyze our tour too.

DAY 14: Fly Back Home!!!

This is the day for departing but it is not our break up!!!! You are living this tiny heaven; missing the life and time you spent here. You will fly back to your destination/home with warm love from this country of Lord Buddha. Heaven Treks will be with you to drop off at the Airport/Bus Station. We must plan to reach airport approximately 3 hours for boarding and customs purposes.
