The APPG for Professional Sales highlights need for Digital Sales Skills

When was the last time your business invested in sales training? What were they taught? Much of what I was teaching, even five years ago is no longer valid. 

The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Professional Sales (Chair Mark Pawsey MP) released a report earlier this month, calling for more to be done to recruit skilled salespeople. 

The report called “Supercharging Sales – Investing in B2B selling for jobs and growth”also stated that skilled salespeople are needed “to drive the economy out of recession and to find new global trading opportunities.”

It also highlighted a lack of skills and expertise in ‘digital selling’ and warned this is a barrier to British businesses selling abroad.
