Ashani Mfuko Prepares To Launch New Lifestyle Platform

Ashani Mfuko Prepares To Launch New Lifestyle Platform

I have a confession to make to you today, and it’s something really personal, that I’ve never shared before with anyone, outside of my immediate family.Let me give you some background info first..

I started my first online dance business, back in 2007, and around 2008/2009, I started a blog called the “Let’s Talk Dance” blog, where I offered tips, advice, and strategies on how to make money online as a dance artist, through social media.

I hosted a weekly #LetsTalkDance Twitter chat, and also had a podcast, and eventually produced my own dance tv show, called, “Inside New York City Dance”.

For over 10 years, I’ve been serving the dance community with online tools, resources, programs, courses, and digital products to help propel you forward, and help you start monetizing your online presence, and create a better quality of life as a dance artist, through multiple streams of income online.

I have positively impacted the lives of thousands of dancers, dance teachers, and dance business owners, worldwide, and it’s been a rewarding ride!

But I have to be honest with you today…

I’m Tired.

I’m tired of trying to help dance artists shift their mindset from lack to abundance.

I’m tired of trying to empower dance artists, and dance teachers to use technology, online platforms, social media, and the internet, to build more financial stability for themselves.

I’m tired of so many dance artists, dance teachers, and dance business owners seeing the value and knowledge I have to offer, and wanting access to it, but not being willing to invest in themselves to get it.

I’m tired.

Recently, I asked my followers on social media what type of content they want to see from me online, and the consensus was:

Lifestyle Content. Beauty. Make-up tutorials. Fashion and style. Family, and my life as a mompreneur.

And you know what?

I’m here for it!

My work, my credentials, my results, strategies, and transformations that I provide for my current customers and clients, far exceed and transcend the dance industry alone. And I’ve known that for YEARS!

My husband has been telling me to stop working exclusively within the dance industry, for YEARS!!

But I knew that I had a special calling, and a unique purpose to fulfill in this industry, even if only for a time.

I needed to be obedient to what God was calling me to do, although I knew that, at some point, I would expand my brand to incorporate other types of businesses, partnerships, and platforms.

The dance industry just isn't ready for me yet. I am ahead of my time.

So the time has come for a shift, and I am now preparing to launch a brand new lifestyle brand, under my name.

I’m not saying that I won’t still be offering my online dance programs, courses, services, and digital products to you, as a dance artist, or dance business owner.

I’m just letting you know that I am expanding my brand.

Lastly, I think it’s important for you to know that, my current online dance programs, courses, and services for dancers, may not be available forever.

There may come a time when I completely shift out of this industry (again, I’m tired lol), and no longer offer the online programs, products, and services that I offer now.

I have SO MUCH MORE to offer the world, than just these life-changing online programs and consulting services for the dance industry!

SO MUCH MORE!

So I’m sharing this with you today to let you know that, it has been my honor to serve you, for the past 13 years!

If I have helped you in any way, please post a comment below, and let me know how.

Better yet, post it in your Instagram or Facebook Stories, or on your profile, and tag me @AshaniMfukoDance. I’d love to hear from you!

In the meantime, please be prepared to move quickly when I present an offer to you that you know is the exact thing you need to transform your dance career, dance business, finances, or online brand. Because these programs may not be around for much longer.

*EDITED TO ADD: My decision has nothing to do with the current crisis, with COVID-19. This is a shift I've been wanting/planning to make for over a year now. I was just waiting for the right time to expand.

**EDITED TO ALSO ADD:

My “unofficial” mentor, read this, and said that I needed to adjust the tone of this post, so that it celebrates the work that I’ve done over the years in the dance industry, and also the success that I’ve experienced as a result.

So I will say this.

I have created a success blueprint for dancers to follow, for generations to come, that empowers dancers, of all ages, to stop prostituting themselves for a gig, or a paycheck, and to start honoring themselves, to know their value, and to walk in their purpose.

Between my hundreds of free training videos on YouTube, and social media, and my paid online programs, and digital products, I have strategically (with lots of intention and care) laid out exactly HOW to monetize your online presence as a dance artist, how to build a more successful, profitable, and powerful dance business or organization online, and how to completely shift your mindset as a professional dancer or dance entrepreneur.

I’ve taken my success, and my experiences in the dance industry, and broken them down step by step, so that you may learn, and accelerate your own growth and success.

And for that, I am proud and grateful!

I know that the impact that I’ve made on the dance industry will last far beyond my existence, and that was always the goal.

In the words of my “unofficial mentor” (who shall remain anonymous, by his request):

"Now you are expanding your services to new markets to help other people. That's your story. Your story is one of Victory for Black women, and the culture.”

Nuff said!
