Emergency visits drive healthcare costs up. Many times, the condition is non-urgent and should be treated in the primary care provider outpatient setting. To assist our clients in determining which patients are using the emergency room for non-urgent conditions, we flag those patients in the EHR using a SMART on FHIR interface.
