Becoming UNSHAKEABLE - Our Teenage Girls NEED Your Help!

Our teenage girls need us more than ever before!

Teen years are some of the hardest to grow through and the impact from the past few years has taken its toll on our girls.

They are more isolated, more depressed, and more bullied (especially online) than ever before.

That's why myself & my colleague, Lea Moffatt, co-founded Unshakeable ME Summer Day Camps for Teenage Girls last year.

To say it was a calling would be the closest thing I could say to describe how it felt to launch this incredible endeavour.

It came about SO quickly and easily and we were in flow in its creation right from the start.

Our Mission:  To inspire teenage girls to know their worth, make friends with their emotions and create tools to support themselves as they grow so that they can feel empowered to show up confidently as their unshakeable selves.

Our Vision: Empowering teenage girls to take on the world.

The response we received was incredible and SO many people were supportive and wanted to help, from swag bag donations to cash donations, to volunteering their expertise to teach a workshop to offering discounted rental rates. It all came together the way it was meant to.

I am proud to share that we were able to host 22 girls last summer - all who started their own personal journeys towards becoming unshakeable and who all want to come back to camp this year.

Unfortunately, the reality is that not all girls can afford to come to camp.

We believe that EVERY girl should get to go to camp and that is why we created our "Send a Girl to Camp" Sponsorship program.

Last year, with the generosity of many, we were able to sponsor 6 girls to go to camp.💜

This year, our goal is to double that!

And that is where we need YOUR help!🙏

We are hosting an EPIC Bingo 🎟️🎲 fundraiser event on May 30th here in Ottawa.

It is bingo, but NOT like you know it.

Dance-offs, competitions, games, a killer soundtrack and a silent auction!

We get to come together to Make Memories AND Make a Difference!

Our ticket sales have been low and we would LOVE to have you join us if you are in the Ottawa and surrounding area to help us send some deserving girls to camp!

Here are the details:

Thursday, May 30th

7 PM - 9 PM (doors open at 6:30 PM)

We held an EPIC Bingo fundraiser in Pickering in April and raised enough to send 2 girls to camp! Thank you!

We invite you to join us for an EPIC night out for a great cause and help us make some girls' dreams of going to camp a reality.

Please share this event with those in your network, too. You never know who may want to join us or who has a daughter who may benefit from going to camp.

You can learn more about Unshakeable ME at our website:

Thank you to everyone who has supported us and to those of you who will.

You have our gratitude and deep appreciation!

What an amazing event these camps must be Margaret Dennis. I hope you raise enough money to more than double the number of girls you can support.
