We are beyond grateful for the incredible support shown at our Move to Give fundraising events last weekend! Together, we've raised an astounding $120,000 (and counting!) in support of the Y's efforts to build healthy communities. Your generosity continues to inspire us, as we see this number grow daily. We caught up with one of our top Move to Give fundraisers, Melissa and her daughter Remi, to hear what MOVES them to GIVE back to our community. Melissa and Remi raised an incredible $17,000 for our YMCA - THANK YOU!

Become a Day Camp Counsellor with our Counsellor in Training Program!
Do you want to be part of the magic of camp, and help children realize their full potential? Join the YMCA's Counsellor in Training program! Counsellor in Training is a three-week youth leadership program for ages 12-15 that focuses on developing the skills required to become a day camp counsellor. Participants will learn about program planning and working with campers in an interactive environment. Participants will also get the opportunity to do a supervised practical placement at one of our YMCA Summer Day Camps! The Counsellor in Training program is available at our Day Camp locations in Orillia (with a bussing option from Barrie) and Midland. Click here for more details.
