Numbers aside, the term "coach" means different things to different people

In its truest definition, a career coach is certified by an accredited program like ICF (International Coaching Federation). Certified coaches can earn three credentials.

ACC-Associate Certified Coach, PCC- Professional Certified Coach, and MCC-Master Certified Coach.

The fundamental belief in coaching is:

The client is complete.

They know what matters, and what's bothering them. Coaches don't give advice or tell you what to do.

They don't have the solution, you do.

I am not a certified coach, but we have an MCC coach who works 1:1 with our clients.

Career strategists, are often batched in "career coaches" but technically aren't.

They guide clients but lean more tactical. I'm a career strategist.

Why them?

• What is it about the their approach, area of focus, LinkedIn recommendations, content or what other people's experience has been that signals "I want what that?"
• Will put your trust in them to guide from end to end?
• Will you follow through, even when it gets uncomfortable to get the results you want?
• Is the chemistry there?
