Emerging from the pandemic, new donor acquisition tops the priority list for Christ-centered ministries and churches, according to ECFA’s latest research, which I had the privilege of overseeing. While the biggest channel of pandemic giving was major donors, the most effective fundraising medium for new donor acquisition was direct mail, and the fastest growing technology for reaching new donors is paid social media postings/placements, most heavily Facebook.
