Better You Rise Than Being A Master For A moment!

Do you know the difference between the words "Winning and Rising"?

I think winning has a broad meaning and rising states the definite path of its cause. Winning can be just a matter of luck or hard work but rising means defying odds and overcoming struggles. A gamble can be won but you can't rise out of it!

Hi! My name is Rohit. I'm a new member on LinkedIn and to be honest it has been a good experience to be here. You meet different people bringing their vast experiences who are interested to help you. And I think the art of helping others is an amazing trait of human beings.

Today I would like to share my CA Intermediate scoresheet on this platform along with some insights about me.

Here we go!

I'm from a small subdivision 'Jagdishpur' in Ara District, Bihar. I did my class tenth from a school there. I doubt if you believe it or not that it is a school or something else. It wasn't a proper school but anyhow I did my class tenth from the same but if you see my mark sheet of class tenth you will see a different name of the school there. Aimed for 10 CGPA like every other student I did my preparation but it was a shock for me that I got only 8.2 CGPA though it was the second-highest score that time in the school where I studied. Later on, we came to know it was a fault on the administration side that they didn't submit marks of students to be grouped as a whole to conclude the overall class tenth CGPA. But Past is past. Let it be there and move on. Upset with my result I started looking forward to a new adventure. After the result, I moved to my grandfather's town where I got enrolled in arguably the best school in that town. In class twelfth, I was a very good performer in my studies throughout. I also stood rank 2nd in my section in the half-yearly exam. You know when everything looks good there is a possibility for a setback. It was 2nd May 2019 when I saw my class twelfth result. Again it was a shock to me I scored only 88.6 percentage which I never thought because I had really worked hard in my opinion. For the first time, I could not see myself on the list of top 10 students. But anyhow I got admission to Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (eve), University of Delhi as my best four was pretty good. But since the day when I saw my class twelfth result, I became skeptical about myself. I wasn't able to assess my strength. I could see only the darkness and negativity around me.

As I had already researched CA course during my school days I started preparing for CA Foundation along with the college. Hopefully, I cleared the exam with good marks. it was the Nov'19 attempt. On the result day, I couldn't believe that I did that as I had a habit of getting choked on the right opportunities. This boosted my confidence to go harder for CA Intermediate. I did sit for both groups in November 20 cycle II. To be honest I had slept on the result day in the afternoon which I don't have a habit but I did. And I dreamt of clearing my exams. I didn't know that the dream was going to be a reality soon. I checked my result and by God's grace, I passed. Here I attaching the same for you.

I would like to conclude by saying that it was not an easy ride for me to come from a very small village where parents tend to send their children to sit in govt. exams and the children also did so. They restrict themselves there. I feel blessed to have good parents and a good circle of people like you all readers. Without their efforts, I don't think I could ever be sharing this story with you. But I would say for myself that by God's grace I can see my graph 'rising'. And I hope that I will continue to learn and rise. From getting 8.2 CGPA to clearing both groups in the first attempt it has been a rollercoaster journey for me. But I don't want to limit it to myself. It's my ambition to lift children from small towns to see a better world. I want them to explore things in a better way and shape their lives as they want.

Now I would like to thank everyone who read my story. It is a nostalgic moment for me to share my story in brief with you. I never did so before. I have never been so clear and frank about sharing this. But I'm doing so and I feel great that blessings have worked out. Now I think I should rest my fingers for now. But I would like to hear your story from you soon as I believe everyone has a unique story of his/her own where he/she is a protagonist of it and you can learn a lot from knowing such a piece.

Goodbye folks! Have a blissful day ahead!

You have come a long way buddy. To pen down your journey from Class X till your journey of clearing CA intermediate was fantastic. Well done Buddy. I would like you to be not too hard on yourself. It was visible that setbacks hurt you a bit. I would suggest it will happen but try to enjoy it out and chill a bit.Sometimes it's better to not be hard on oneself. All the Best for journey that unfolds from here
