Board Impulse Thoughts (BIT) – A little BIT for everybody

Board Impulse Thoughts (BIT) – A little BIT for everybody

62nd Board Impulse Thoughts with Talifhani Banks and his views and assessments of the upcoming and last 12 months

1. How did the last 12 month effect your business?

Covid made us grow as we are helping large companies to digitize their processes first time in their strategic development. In Africa we had a significant lack of digitization level and we could use the chance to position ourselves. The crisis we used as chance even if Covid of course was not good, at all. I am always a digital driver and before the pandemic it was tough to evangelize customers from the scratch. Now, the needs and musts are clear on the table.

2. What are your recommendations to other African CEO’s?

I recommend other African CEO’s to be more open minded, look into the European marketplace and keep their teams open minded and interested in the global marketplace. Do not limit yourself and be open for networks and co-operations. See opportunities and not so much problems.

3.What do you expect from 2023?

As now the digitization has a new dynamic and a high-speed direction, I see continuing disruption and further fine tuning in our products and services. We have very ambitious goals and will go global. We look into the US, UK and EU markets. Our EU market entry we already have set as we are using the eResidency concept from Estonia to go the next step. So, 2023 is our year of growing opportunities. The only hurdle might be the investment cash.

4. What is so special in your company?

That is easy to explain: it is our people. They are open minded, innovative, brave and simply good vibes people. A super team, developing super solutions. We are all hungry and want to build the big thing.
