Breaking the Glass Ceiling: The Inner Changes Women Must Make to Reach the Executive Level.

Are you ready to break through that glass ceiling and reach the executive level?

If so, get ready to make some profound changes!

Throughout history, women have faced numerous obstacles when it comes to achieving leadership positions, especially in the business world.

And yes yes... there are many structural changes within organisation that can/should happen, however...

I'm here today to discuss changes that must be made FIRST.

Otherwise, I can promise that no organisational changes will enable you to reach your full potential.

So, let me run you through 3 inner changes you need to make if you want to step up:

1. Get Your Confidence and Self-Belief Game On

One of the biggest challenges I see ambitious leaders face when trying to land an executive position is our lack of confidence and self-belief.

It's time to break free from socialised beliefs that we're incapable or deserving of success.

The solution?

Cultivate that confidence and self-belief by setting small goals and achieving them.

Trust me, this is not about the goal specifically, this is about building your confidence and your belief. you'll be amased at the difference it makes.

And, don't be afraid to seek mentors and sponsors who can guide and support you.

Also, investing in personal development, like hiring a coach, attending workshops and taking courses, can also help you improve your skills and knowledge.

2. Embrace Your Inner Risk-Taker

It's time to take some risks, ladies!

We tend to be more risk-averse than men, but that can hold us back from taking on new challenges and opportunities.

Don't let that happen!

Embrace risk-taking by identifying your fears and limiting beliefs, and then work on challenging and reframing them.

Look for opportunities to take calculated risks, like volunteering for a new project or taking on a leadership role in a community organisation.

These small steps can help build your confidence and develop the skills necessary to take even bigger risks in the future.

3. Develop That Growth Mindset

Last but not least, it's time to adopt a growth mindset.

That means believing your abilities and intelligence can be developed through your work and dedication.

It's essential for success in business because it allows you to view challenges and setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning.

To get started, embrace the concept of "yet."

Instead of saying, "I can't do this", say, "I can't do this yet".

That simple shift in language can help you see challenges as opportunities for growth and improvement.

So, ladies, are you ready to make those inner changes and break that glass ceiling?

I believe in you.
