"The brevity of life is the grace to walk your own path"
A successful life is lived through understanding and pursuing one's own path, not chasing the dream of others! And that, my friend, is a life lived on your own terms. Way to often we compare our struggles to anyone else's. Don't get discouraged by the success of others! Do it your way and never ever give up. Even if you take 2 steps forward and 3 steps back. This is natural. But in all the struggles, there's a gift: THE GIFT OF LEARNING, of growing. When we care too much about what others think, we are never free to pursue our dreams.
And massive action is what it takes to succeed! Gathering information, planning, creating your vision for the future, these are all excellent ideas. But nothing will change unless you're willing to do the work. I often hear people say: "discover your passion". I don't say that. What I say is: "Invest in your passion". When I've made the choice to become a professional Coach, it was a tough decision. Even though I could afford it, no one was there to tell me if I would succeed or not. Here I am, almost one year later, congratulating myself for the decision I took. I know it will not be easy and that it's not meant to be easy. But I have a gut feeling that tells me to go all in."
Because "to have the results that only 5% of the population has, you've got to be willing to do what 95% of the population is unwilling to do." (Robin Sharma)
And the top move you can make is to invest in self-education. [That's how I did it. And how I still do it.] Build a stronger, wiser, greater and more noble you. Learn the skills needed to become this higher version of your current self.
I leave you with one Coaching Question: "How do you want to be remembered?"
For me, what comes to mind, are the lyrics of Frank Sinatra's song - My Way:
"I've lived a life that's full/ I've traveled each and every highway/ And more, much more than this/ I did it my way."
