Brexit

Hard or Soft Brexit ….. There have been thousands of words and countless hours of TV and other Media Coverage around this subject however the vast majority of reporting seems to me to be speculation and conjecture. I can’t understand the Media obsession with forcing Theresa May to declare her plans for Brexit in advance of the negotiations. Surely the plan is basic common sense, get the best deal for the UK we possibly can whilst delivering what the Electorate voted for. Clearly this is going to be a complicated long drawn out negotiation process but when does anyone enter any negotiation by showing the other parties all their cards before they start?

Undoubtedly whatever agreement is reached for Brexit will only be a framework of a deal. It will be left to, among others, Business to interpret the new Rules and Regulations and make the best deals they can.

There are going to be some challenges ahead but there will also be some terrific opportunities for those willing to seize them.

For me i'm always happier trading in times of Change and Uncertainty. I think for the true entrepreneur these are the ideal trading conditions.

Unfortunately what does seem a certainty is that Politicians haven't learned anything from the recent Election “upsets” throughout the world and continue to conduct themselves in the same off putting manner. Those in Power doing whatever they can to hang onto it and those in Opposition doing whatever they can to gain it. Imagine what a Powerful force the UK would become on the World Stage if for once Political and Personal Differences were put to one side and the UK’s best interests were put first, wouldn't that be a nice change…...

Joe you say and I quote, the problem is we don't know what THEY voted for, can I ask you who are THEY? And did you actually vote yourself?

The idea of putting personal and political differences aside for the 'greater good' is interesting, like a constitutional monarchy?

When I saw the title "Brexit" I naturally thought "Oh here we go again", however after reading your thoughts, I have to congratulate you, well put and I totally agree, I couldn't have put it better myself!

My thoughts exactly Too much hot air and rubbish spouted by both sides of the argument. Just get on with it and all the uncertainty will go. As to what we voted for, the majority voted to leave the EU, period.
