It is interesting how more and more people are using You Tube as the #1 destination for make up tips, product reviews and information.

So rather then visit the Brand website, or social media pages, consumers are turning to the independent Vloggers views on You Tube to offer them advice on which products to try and how to use them.

Why are we not then using this in store as part of the retail experience ?

Here is a great example from AlexisJayda which has had around 250k views and shows her talking about Maybelline's The Blushed Nudes...

Those of us who work in trying to enhance and develop the offering in store, need to bring this new media to the retail touch points and help shoppers get more from the in store experience maybe.

It is a new retail landscape out there, and we need to adapt our retail designs and ideas to keep up with the pace of a 2016/17 shopper...
