Grant Spotlight: $60,000 PNC Grant Fuels BCBE Entrepreneurship Initiatives
BCBE is thrilled to announce a $60,000 PNC General Grant supporting the Entrepreneurship Lab. This funding is a continuation grant and will empower students with competitions like the Fall Pitch-A-Thon, access to cutting-edge tools like Startup Wars, and expand BCBE’s I3 Curriculum to other NC HBCUs. Thanks to the PNC Foundation, BCBE continues preparing visionary leaders in entrepreneurship and economic development. Southern Region Conference in Atlanta, gaining insights into industry trends, engaging in workshops, and networking with top professionals. Our students represented Fayetteville State University with pride, demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to their professional growth. FSU Innovators Take the Stage at the The Global CEO Institute Conference!
Fayetteville State University’s entrepreneurial spirit, powered by PNC , took center stage at the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization Global Conference in Tampa! Congratulations to Jabril Crudup , Aria Freeman , and Justin Pruitt of the Broadwell College CEO Chapter for competing in the 41st annual CEO Pitch Competition. Led by Dr. Hoolda Kim and Ms. Mallonee Clay , the team pitched their award-winning concept, “The Juice,” which continues to earn recognition and prizes locally and nationally. Well done, Broncos! FSU Students Earn FEMA Disaster Management Certifications
Fayetteville State University celebrates the recent achievements of 26 students who earned OSHA 10 and FEMA 200 certifications through the Disaster Management program. These certifications equip students with essential skills in workplace safety and disaster response. With hands-on training, including a mock OSHA inspection, FSU is preparing future leaders to address the growing need for disaster management professionals. This event was made possible by PNC ’s sponsorship and the dedication of faculty advisors Dr. Elizabeth Crawford Jackson and Mallonee Clay . BCBE Hosted Inaugural Deloitte Consulting Case Competition
Fayetteville State University’s inaugural Deloitte Case Competition, held in the SAP Next-Gen Lab, was a huge success! Teams tackled real-world business challenges, with Lakebra Murchison and Nicholas Worth taking first place for their innovative solution to BOWL’d.
