We are thrilled to announce that we have our fifth and final (for 2024) business networking event of the year. It is Business Networking and Sweet Potato fries. The event is taking place to celebrate National Sweet Potato Awareness Month. This will be our last business networking event of 2024 and takes place at the very end of November for this reason.
You may have noticed that we have two networking events in November. Business Networking and Sweet Potato Fries takes place at the end of November. This is because December gets very busy for a lot of our venues, but also for our attendees.
Our Business Networking and Sweet Potato Fries event is taking place at Beckets Traditional Tearoom. It’s a gorgeous venue in Peterborough city centre, within the cathedral grounds. Tracy and Graham from Beckets Traditional Tearoom are giving us the venue for free. In addition, each attendee will be able to help themselves to freshly cooked sweet potato fries. This is a side dish that Beckets Traditional Tearoom offer with their meals or as a side normally.
As with all our business networking events, the event is free for attendees. However, you must book in advance as spaces are limited. This space comfortably seats 50 people, so the cut off is 50 people for this event. Bookings will close 24 hours before the event. This enables us and Becketts Traditional Tearoom to prepare for the event.
Business Networking and Sweet Potato Fries will take place between 3pm and 5pm on Thursday 28th November. Attendees can arrive from 3pm for informal networking. We will then take to our seats at 3.30pm. At this point attendees are welcome to promote themselves and their business for 60 seconds. This will be followed by more informal networking.

While the event officially ends at 5pm, attendees are welcome to stay and continue networking after the event. The networking and sweet potato fries are free of charge. However, attendees are welcome to purchase hot and cold drinks from the venue.
