3yAnother SAP marketing promise that if realized could provide value. Big gaps in how it can be accomplished, large shortage of people experienced in its core product migration and no clear standards for partners to be held accountable. If SAP holds itself and all partners to the values espoused in RISE even for customers who have deep customizations this may work. The branding and previous similar efforts have been uneven and lacked success. RISE has to be different in substance and execution with a coherent message across all of SAP not just sales. As an example the change from sap cloud platform to business transformation platform seems uneven and choppy if you need to find relevant information in the support portal you have to know to use HCI, CPI, and other terms to find your answers. As of Friday 2/26/2021 using BTP provided no help for support issues tied to the cloud based platform and services related to it. Consistency of message and execution within SAP would be a great start for RISE but I’m not seeing it.
