If you’re an author, you probably know how important it is to build a strong online presence. One essential platform that often goes underutilized is Amazon Author Central. It’s a powerful tool designed to help you manage your author profile, increase your book’s discoverability, and connect with readers. But, like any tool, it’s only effective if you know how to use it strategically.
Beta readers are invaluable in the writing process because they can help you improve your manuscript. Fiction beta readers will provide feedback on anything from their overall satisfaction with the book to the characters, plot line, and whether the story flowed well. Nonfiction beta readers who aren’t experts on your topic provide help when they comment on what they expected to learn but didn’t, where you went into more detail than necessary, or when they needed clarification.
As a first-time author, creating a custom book cover is an exciting moment. This is the point where it all comes together. Your hard work of writing the book is done, and now you get to put the finishing touches on the cover to make it exactly the way you’ve envisioned!
