CAN EPSTEIN'S TRUTH SET YOU FREE?
With all the revelations to be now released in the New Year on Epstein's black book and its consequences have some unexpected outcomes for years to come? OK, no one would dispute that trafficking underaged girls for sex is unacceptable even if now a days it is hard to judge girl's age, the point becomes who on Epstein's list indulge in any sexual exploits whether under age or not? Perhaps some might fit the out of wedlock adultery characteristics but if that were true and is so charged, someone would still need to prove that in court if a defamation suit followed. And Epstein so full of remorse committed suicide so can't be called on for evidence.
Extend this legal burden of proof question further to how it might apply to others on the list. It might be unsightly to visit Epstein's Island for intended frivolity but just being on a list of people who might have committed a crime might demonstrate lack of judgement but does not prove personal guilt.
Then we have Maxwell and the months of her secret grilling where presumably the Secret Service have been looking at whose names must be redacted for "security" purposes. Here it has never been clear over whether she had been procuring girls, finding willing participants at parties or whether they were specifically targeted to be under age. One could suggest something sucks.
So whose names will now be released and who will be sued for billions for releasing specific names who can't afford the affront? And is this to be simply the start of a extended witch-hunt many will wish would never have started? Perhaps free flights on private planes like so many other things turn out not to be free...
