Can you imagine having a long distance relationship where you never see the person, but you love them and they love you unconditionally? I can... With Jesus there is an unexplainable peace, comfort and joy that comes from the knowledge that He is there and will be for eternity. Do I sometimes neglect our relationship (just like the ones I CAN see)? Yes. Do I need to ask for forgiveness for messing up things in our relationship? Yes. Am I forgiven through His grace? YES! Allow a long distance relationship to fill you with joy, love and contentment. (BTW...He is closer than you think). Have a blessed day!
