Can Phoenix be a fashion hot spot?
Each week, here's where we highlight our latest cover story.
Arizona is stitching together an emerging fashion manufacturing industry in the Valley.
While Paris is the fashion capital of the world — with the New York Garment District and Los Angeles Fashion District serving as national hubs for manufacturing — metro Phoenix is carving out a niche as a local apparel production center for brands making small batches.
The Fashion and Business Resource Innovation Center (FABRIC) — a nonprofit fashion incubator, business accelerator and design studio — is finding ways to make the industry more accessible locally.
Specialty fashion brand Liv Tall and apparel manufacturing company House of Holmes are also carving out niches in the Valley.
